AMSURG physician Scott Fink, M.D., Main Line Endoscopy Center, East, was featured in an article in the Philadelphia Inquirer about the rise in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in children and adults.

“While the vast majority of people with fatty liver will not have long-term problems, we can’t really identify which patients will go from having fat on their liver to end-stage liver disease,” Fink said. “All we can do is monitor them for the progression.”
