At the 50th percentile or median score, half of the organizations in the database rank below and the other half rank above the median score. If you are at the 60th percentile on a question, 40% of the organizations scored and ranked higher than your organization on this question. The HealthStream database mean score is the average score for all organizations included in the HealthStream database for a particular question.
