AMSURG President and CEO Chris Holden was named Entrepreneur of the Year Southeast for Healthcare by Ernst & Young. This year marks the award’s 30th anniversary. Entrepreneurs who received this award were selected by an independent judging panel comprised of previous award recipients and other regional business leaders. The awards were presented on June 23 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee.

“This year’s dynamic leaders have turned their vision into reality, making impressive contributions to their communities and impacting those around them,” said Brad Duncan, EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program principal. “We are excited be celebrating 30 years of Entrepreneur Of The Year awards with the 2016 recipients.”

Regional award recipients will compete to be named national award winners. National category awards, as well as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall National Award winner, will be announced in November.

Over its 30 year history, the program has recognized business leaders in more than 145 cities and 60 countries throughout the world. For more information about the program, click here.
