AMSURG Employees Continue Support for Wounded Warrior Project

For thesecond year in a row, AMSURG employees chose to support theWounded Warrior Project. The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is “to honor and empower Wounded Warriors” by raising awareness and providing programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.     Throughout the spring, AMSURG colleagues participated in numerous fundraising events from a baked goods & crafts sale to a senior management obstacle course challenge at the annual employee picnic.     In July, members of the Employee Activities Team delivered a check to the Nashville office of the Wounded Warrior Project. With matching support from the company, this year’s donation was more than $10,000.     Pictured Above: Front row (l to r): Heather Alvarado, Welcome Coordinator for Nashville’s Wounded Warrior Project accepts the AMSURG check from Matthew Carney, HR Coordinator.  Back row (l to r): Bob Schultz, Project Odyssey Coordinator for Nashville’s Wounded Warrior Project and AMSURG employees Jennifer Davis, Paralegal; Pauline Wilson, AVP, Patient Relationship Solutions; Sheila Holman, Manager, Payroll Services; and Leah Liebelt, AP Processor.
